OUR COMMITTMENT Turning Point holds the belief that all people have the right to a violence-free life. Turning Point recognizes the importance of empowering people and working to end violence by providing counseling, support, advocacy, and a safe haven. We are committed to improving the lives of victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy for changes in the "systems" and through community collaboration. A community working together to end violence does make a difference. OUR MISSION Turning Point’s mission is to provide programs and resources that enable victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness to regain control of their lives. OUR PHILOSOPHY Our philosophy is to work toward ending the use of violence as a means of oppressing and controlling others, and endorses the concept of helping people assume power over their lives. |
